I am sorry for the lack of posting here as I have been rather busy. I have had a cough since late January that is still bugging me to this date. I was running a slight fever but that seems to have subsided. Since I have been slightly better minus the cough, I got my hair cut and beard trimmed. I have no picture to show but let’s say that I feel a whole lot better. My beard was messy and unkempt and my hair was running wild. I feel so much better now that I have been cleaned up! Now I have a nice and short goatee; I’m looking good :)
I went for a swim today. 45 minutes of laps and splashing around has a tendency to wear you down. I enjoyed a nice, hot shower and a good shave afterward and it was glorious! The weather here has been insane. Yesterday it was clear and sunny with a high of 65. Today it is flooding and the temperature is around 35. I can’t wait for this bad weather to subside and have it get nice and temperate again! I also can’t wait for outdoor pools to open in late May. Swimming is an awesome workout rivaling lifting weights.
I have been diving into Fable II and Fallout IV quite heavily, though I have been into Fable II more so than Fallout IV. I have also been watching my anime via the Xbox console as well. I am at the first terminal in Fallout IV. The game is very addictive. I like the fact that the game is very interactive and you have different choices and paths to take. The leveling system is pretty cool, too. My aim is pretty bad but Dogmeat helps me out a lot and I get lucky with a head shot once in a while.
I am working on a few projects. I am writing another story and am on the lookout for new things to render and make some more wallpapers. If anyone out there has something they want rendered, let me know! I will render anything that my skill level warrants. If you want a custom wallpaper made get a hold of me and I am sure that we can work something out.
Yesterday was my 30th birthday…. yikes I’m getting old! I had a great time with my friends. I got a digital code to get Fable II. Now I have Fallout 4 as well as Fable II to keep me occupied!
I had a red velvet cake with raspberry filling, thanks to my friend Sasha for baking it! I had a huge slice as well as a ton of goulash in my belly. I felt full, cold, hot and clammy. I was miserable I was so full. When I got home last night I took a hot shower and I felt 100% better. It is amazing what a shower can do.
There is so much ice on the roads and sidewalks here it’s not even funny. I almost slipped last night! This medical boot has zero traction so it was quite difficult to maneuver on it. Time to relax and game! Ja~
Yesterday I got my XBox One! I borrowed Madden 17, Fallout 4, and GTA V. For some reason my console won’t read the Madden 17 disc but will read the others. The disc itself is in great condiiton, not a scratch one on it. It has problems with Fallout, too, but I managed to get it to read. The game was about 30GB to download and install.
I am going to take a nap and watch the super bowl then play some Fallout 4 :)
Happy New Year everyone~
I was at a kid’s birthday party when I saw an old friend of mine. He is selling his used 1TB Xbox One for $100. We agreed to make split payments; $50 up front and $50 the following month. I will have the first $50 sometime in the following weeks and will pick the system up. I will then pay him the remaining $50 the following month. It sure pays to have friends from over a decade to built trust! I am so excited!
Hanukkah is still going on—day six; Saturday night was the big celebration in the household. There was tons of food to be eaten! There was matza balls, latkes, hummus, cheese, green beans, and much more! There were around twenty to twenty four people in this tiny household. After the food and drink, there were gifts. I scored a huge gift card for Amazon.com. I had a great time visiting my family, it’s a shame that I only get to visit every six months to a year at a time!
I know I said that I would wait until January to see Episode VIII, but my Aunt and Uncle wanted to see it this weekend. I absolutely loved it. It kept you on your seat for a good chunk. The ending was okay I guess. I won’t spoil anything for those that actually read this blog and haven’t seen it yet.
