I had a case of minor food poisoning the other day. I was cramped on both ends of my GI. When stuff finally got moving, I was puking with a lot of the runs–at the same time. I blame it on a friend’s “Mexican chicken”. It sure was tasty but I will never eat it again. Along with fluid coming out of both ends, I got very dizzy and passed out on the bathroom floor.
On a happier note, the same friend that just about killed me let me borrow some of his stand up collection. I am borrowing all of the Blue Collar videos and 3 of John Pinette’s specials! I am also just about done with Sword Art Online season one!
I am in the process of moving to a new apartment. I am very excited about this! All excited feelings aside, moving really does bite the big one. I have packed up so many boxes it’s not even funny. The good thing is I don’t have to unpack my boxes right away after I move; I can take my time and take a few days instead of go-go-going and do the dirty deed in one day. The hard part will be cleaning and moving furniture. I am hoping to get this all done in one day with the help of my parents. Hopefully it won’t take more than six to eight hours breaks permitting.
I found an old friend of mine on Facebook. We met in the 5th grade and graduated together. I lost touch with him shortly after high school. He went to Mizzou and some university in Madrid, Spain. I sent him a friend request; I hope he remembers me!
I am almost done with Naruto. I am very curious as to what happens to Orochimaru and his mysterious gang of sound ninjas. Oops, I hope I didn’t spoil anything there! I am on episode 140 out of 220. I tend to knock out 12-15 episodes every Sunday as part of my lazy Sunday schedule. Not this Sunday, though, I have to finish moving! I will post another round as soon as I am settled in. Pics will be shown!
First day of June and the summer weather has been hitting it very hard for a few weeks. Here in town the temperature is 90°F with a heat index of 97°F. The humidity is low for here: 55%; it still feels muggy as hell, though. In early May, the temperatures were running a nice 65°F to 75°F. Why is it so damn hot this early in June, and what happened to my spring? I suppose it is kind of good to skip the brunt of allergy season (although I still have a cough). I am hoping for a visit to my extended family up in Kansas City, MO late this month. I have some meetings and appointments, so I hope we can work out something to spend a week or so to see my family! The weather up in KC seems to be just like it is right here in town. I can hardly wait!
I have been binging Naruto over the past couple of weeks. I am on episode 91. I’m not going to talk about it to prevent spoilers just in case anyone who reads this forsaken blog won’t get hit with spoilers. A friend of mine gave me Sword Art Online and High School DxD. When I get bored of watching Naruto, which I doubt will happen soon, I will pop in a few episodes of these shows just to check them out.
I am level 68, almost 69, in AION. The grinding has gotten very slow over the past few weeks. I hope to make 70 eventually. When I get my main character to 70, I will beef up my alt character. The level cap is 75, but 70 will suffice my needs for now. Fatty tracker will be online this Sunday for those who are interested in my progress. It won’t be much at first because it has only been a week. Give it time and I plan on owning this thing! B)
This past month has had its ups and downs. I have not been out and about so much this month as I would like to be. I have been playing a lot of games. I am pretty much off of Fallout 4; the computer hacking isn’t up to my tastes. I have been mostly playing AION. I recently got a copy of Final Fantasy XV. I am ashamed to say that I have not begun gameplay as I also acquired a the first series of Naruto and am watching that!
I got back into chess club last Sunday. I came out 4-1-2! That broke down to 2 checkmates, 2 forced to resign to me, one loss and 2 stalemates. Not too shabby if I must say; I could have done better if my opponents weren’t so damn good at the game.
Ferg is trying to help me to learn German. I am not giving up on my Japanese studies! I also need to work on my English; I am fluent in it as I was raised in the United States, but my mental condition sort of “hinders” my speech in a way that makes me very hard to understand! So I am working on two foreign languages and my spoken English. Wish me luck!
Much thanks to my friend, Sam, for getting me hooked on yet another MMO. This one is different from TERA or Aura Kingdom. As a matter of fact, it reminds me of World of Warcraft, except it is free to play (but there are still purchasable items in the game). The game is called AION. To really get into the game, you will have to learn how to use the map and fast travel system. It took me a day or so to fully understand it all, but I get it now! There are two factions, six classes with eleven specialty subclasses to “ascend” to. The factions are basically dark and light. If you are interested at all, the classes and ascended classes are located here. My character is a level 43 assassin; I am pretty much a rogue! If you are interested, check out the website here!
Sam also wants me to try out World of Warships. I doubt that I will be that much into it as I am not a fan of much military games over RPGs, especially an RPG that I just recently got hooked on to!
I am on the hunt for English subtitles for the anime Comic Girls. I have tried subscene where I usually get my subtitles, but all they have are Arabic and Farsi/Persian. I am having one hell of a time locating the English versions!
I am going to play some AION tonight after I finish updating World of Warships u_u…
