I just got a copy of One Punch Man season one! I watched the dubbed version when it was aired on Adult Swim’s “Toonami”. I fell in love with the show when I saw the first episode when Saitama still had his hair. He rescued a young boy with a “butt shaped chin” from an evil crab monster. Don’t worry, it’s not a big spoiler or anything. The version I have is in Japanese with English subtitles. I like that version better because the original voices that were chosen for the show enact the characters better. An example lies in Dragon Ball Z / Super. The English seiyuu (voice actor/actress) of Son Gokuu is a male that sounds carefree; the Japanese actress (yes, it’s a female) captures Son’s innocence in a whole new way. Speaking of Dragon Ball Super, I just found out that there is a Dragon Ball Super movie coming out on December 14, 2018!
I am looking for a digital copy of Fable III for my Xbox One. I borrowed a physical copy from a friend to play around with. I am still stuck on Fallout 4 on a terminal. I will pass that point SOMETIME in the near future! I was told that lock picking would be a good alternative, but there is no lock that I can find on or near the door.
My mother has been ill with the flu for the past week. Please think of her!
I am sorry for the lack of posting here as I have been rather busy. I have had a cough since late January that is still bugging me to this date. I was running a slight fever but that seems to have subsided. Since I have been slightly better minus the cough, I got my hair cut and beard trimmed. I have no picture to show but let’s say that I feel a whole lot better. My beard was messy and unkempt and my hair was running wild. I feel so much better now that I have been cleaned up! Now I have a nice and short goatee; I’m looking good :)
I went for a swim today. 45 minutes of laps and splashing around has a tendency to wear you down. I enjoyed a nice, hot shower and a good shave afterward and it was glorious! The weather here has been insane. Yesterday it was clear and sunny with a high of 65. Today it is flooding and the temperature is around 35. I can’t wait for this bad weather to subside and have it get nice and temperate again! I also can’t wait for outdoor pools to open in late May. Swimming is an awesome workout rivaling lifting weights.
I have been diving into Fable II and Fallout IV quite heavily, though I have been into Fable II more so than Fallout IV. I have also been watching my anime via the Xbox console as well. I am at the first terminal in Fallout IV. The game is very addictive. I like the fact that the game is very interactive and you have different choices and paths to take. The leveling system is pretty cool, too. My aim is pretty bad but Dogmeat helps me out a lot and I get lucky with a head shot once in a while.
I am working on a few projects. I am writing another story and am on the lookout for new things to render and make some more wallpapers. If anyone out there has something they want rendered, let me know! I will render anything that my skill level warrants. If you want a custom wallpaper made get a hold of me and I am sure that we can work something out.
Yesterday I got my XBox One! I borrowed Madden 17, Fallout 4, and GTA V. For some reason my console won’t read the Madden 17 disc but will read the others. The disc itself is in great condiiton, not a scratch one on it. It has problems with Fallout, too, but I managed to get it to read. The game was about 30GB to download and install.
I am going to take a nap and watch the super bowl then play some Fallout 4 :)
Happy New Year everyone~
I was at a kid’s birthday party when I saw an old friend of mine. He is selling his used 1TB Xbox One for $100. We agreed to make split payments; $50 up front and $50 the following month. I will have the first $50 sometime in the following weeks and will pick the system up. I will then pay him the remaining $50 the following month. It sure pays to have friends from over a decade to built trust! I am so excited!
I have been sick with food poisoning for the past few days. As a result, I have been out of the gym for some while. Today I didn’t feel like lifting weights, riding a bike, or swimming. Instead I decided to join the rest of the group and play volleyball. The group has been bugging me to play with them for quite some time. I finally gave in and had a great time! I felt kind of dizzy on the last game and had to sit out. I blame being slightly dehydrated from the food poisoning.
Since I have been down for the count for the past while, I haven’t been able to game all that much. I am going to Kansas City, MO to celebrate Hanukkah with my Jewish family up North. I won’t be able to really game until next Wednesday.
